Your child may be disengaging from school because they are not challenged, the academics are repetitive or too easy, or the pedagogical approach is not a right fit. This can be frustrating, leading to behavioral outbursts, tears, and disengagement.
I offer single subject acceleration in either mathematics, reading, or writing. Often times teachers are not prepared to differentiate instruction to challenge students just out of their Zone of Proximal Development. If your child has been identified, through teacher observation, or a neuro-psych exam, I am the educator you've been looking for! I have an extensive history of working with and accommodating the unique needs of highly gifted learners. I've presented at multiple conferences and have made a profound impact with this incredible population.

Scenarios:
Your child is above grade level in a public or independent school. The school cannot provide instruction at the level your child needs. You are given the option (or advocate for your child) to seek an outside instructor that can provide either online instruction or in-person instruction on campus (which may be possible depending on proximity). Usually an independent school will provide a tuition reimbursement for the amount you need to pay.
You are homeschooling your child and would like a professional, LIVE teacher, on a daily basis, to provide mathematics instruction.
